The junior high cheerleading squad just finished cheering for their first season of flag football. The squad was even given the chance to cheer for the Junior Varsity football team at their homecoming game. Most of the girls are new to cheerleading so it has been a learning experience but everyone has excelled quickly! Now that football season is over we are looking forward to the beginning of basketball season.
Coming up in February the squad will be competeing in the Christian Cheerleaders of America's California Classic Competition. In preparation we will be having an intensive choreography day to learn a long routine inclding stunts, jumps, tumbling, and dancing. I am confident the girls will do Valley proud and learn some valuable performance skills that will help them if/when they decide to try out for Varsity Cheer."
