Date: October 16, 2009
Time: Please arrive at 3:00 to register and to have a walk through of the course. Girls race will start at 4:00 and the boys will follow (4:30 or so)
Place: Valley Christian in Dublin
Volunteer help: Please have 1-2 adults from your school available to help with traffic control. This is to guarantee safety of the athletes.
Individual Scoring:
The top six finishers in each race will be awarded a medal.
Team Scoring:
Points are awarded to the individual runners of eligible teams, equal to the position in which they cross the finish line (first place gets 1 point, second place gets 2 points, etc). Teams will be considered ineligible to score if they have fewer than three runners for each individual race. Only the first three runners in for a team are counted towards that team's score. The team with the fewest points would win the championship and so forth.
Teams will win a trophy based on the top six girls team finishers and boys. Only teams with three runners or more will win a trophy.
Miscellaneous:
Please provide 1”x3” sticker labels for your team. Each label should have first & last name, school name & grade. When the runners finish we will peel their name label off and put it on the finishers board. This is for ease in score keeping.
