The Vikings had one of their best matches of the season in BCL playoffs on Thursday against Head-Royce! After losing the first two games with scores of 19-25, they came from behind to win the third game 28-26 and then came from behind again to win the fourth game 28-26!
After an intense fifth game, the Vikings lost to Head-Royce 15-11.
We are so proud of our team, our coach and our fans! Every player had at least one parent cheering them on plus a couple of siblings and a big group of Seniors!
This was a team effort all around with many hits, block, digs and aces! Leading the team was BCL East All-Tournament team player Brett Fountain with 15 kills and 5 aces (two of them game winners); Alex Richwood with 8 kills, 1 ace; and setter Blake Garvis with 30 assists.
The season may not be over as we're hoping for a bid to the NCS. Stay tuned.
