Dan Burton grew up in the Tri-Valley. He is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in electrical engineering. Dan was a varsity wrestler all four years of high school and graduated from Dublin High School. He trained with Calfornia wrestling powerhouse Chabot College. Much of his coaching technique was learned from the outstanding coaches that he was fortunate to study under. His passion for teaching the sport of wrestling while guiding young athletes in sportsmanship and Christian life permeates his coaching philosophy.
